Walkera has taken their new GPS technology introduced with the QR X350 Quadcopter and installed it in the G400 helicopter turning this 400 size remote controlled helicopter into an amazing gadget. The Walkera G400 helicopter is able to use the GPS module for position holding as well as to return back by itself to the starting position and landing (including failsafe return to home and landing). Flying a larger and more complex and realistic RC helicopter has never been easier like on the G400 thanks to the GPS technology integration.

The integrated 6-axis gyro and on-board GPS module allow this RC helicopter model to hover hands-off with the simple flick of a switch. So if you get into trouble, simply switch to position hold mode, take your hands off the sticks and let the G400 do the rest automatically. The helicopter can even fly back to its home position and land fully automatic without any need for the pilot to interfere in the process. Simply switch the flight mode switch to the number 2 position while in GPS hold mode and watch it automatically flying back to its starting take-off position and landing.
