The Avid Revolutions ball bearings incorporate innovative low-friction metal shield style on one of the bearing sides with rubber seal on the other one. This way you can still use them in most double bearing knuckle arms, transmissions, differential housings and other applications that require a rubber seal on one of the sides to avoid getting dirt or sand inside the bearing, while having half the friction compared to twin rubber seals style bearings. These bearings are high quality ones and offer durability and problem-free usage.
