One of the weakest spots on your bullets are the front axle mounts and the front C-hubs (mostly the axle mounts that HPI offers as Upright set). Now we offer to you these aluminum alloy mounts in one kit similar to our previously released complete set of Aluminum steering arms and hubs for the Bullet. Due to the lack of bearings on stock we are releasing this sets withouth them, but you will find a list of the bearings and shims you will need below.

Please note - you will need a set of screws that currently we do not offer (4-40) to attach the C-hubs to the upper and lower arms. You will also need the original lower arm hinges (101302 - 3*25mm Front Outer Suspension Shaft), spacers (101305 - Wheel Spacer Set), wheel hexes and/or CVD kit that we offer separately. Kit should be used with HPI 101270, but feel free to experiment with the regular HPI 101228 5x40mm axles and drive shafts - according to our customers they work just fine.

You should add some bearing oil and/or grease to the bearings and threadlock to all screws. If you experience any wheel locks after you attached the tire, please check the C-hub bearing screws.

Kit includes:

  • Aluminium Front left and right C-hubs
  • Aluminium Front left and right Axle holder
  • 4x C-hub screws with spacers

In order to complete it you will need:

  • 4x 10x15x4mm Ball Bearings
  • 2x 5x10x4mm Ball Bearings (mount in the 10x15 bearing)
  • 2x 5x11x4mm Ball Bearings (mount on knuckle outer side)
  • 2x 12x15x0.02mm Shims to avoid bearing locks
